Gunter's Wall
Gunter's Wall, named after the German owner of a dive shop in Southern Leyte, is a renowned reef wall extension that stretches south from Adrien's Cove. This thriving underwater ecosystem is dominated by impressive gorgonians and is home to various species like schooling fusiliers, pyramid butterflyfish, parrotfish, titan triggerfish, anthias, and ornate ghost pipefish.
Divers can enter the site through a shallow rocky cove, starting at a depth of 5 meters. From there, they can follow the contour as it gradually descends towards a breathtaking wall that extends beyond the limits of recreational diving. With a maximum depth of 23 meters and visibility reaching up to 13 meters, Gunter's Wall offers an unforgettable diving experience for advanced divers. It's worth noting that this site is part of the largest marine sanctuary in Southern Leyte, ensuring the preservation of its natural beauty and abundance of marine life.
