Futo

Located in East Izu near the IOP, this popular dive site offers two main beach points and abundant opportunities for boat diving. With ramps and handrails to facilitate easy entry and exit, divers of all levels can enjoy the calm sea conditions.

The months of June to August are particularly exciting as divers have the chance to witness the impressive spectacle of large spawning squids. Additionally, the beach is adorned with a mesmerizing array of anemones as far as the eye can see, accompanied by the vibrant presence of numerous clownfish.

Divers are drawn to this site not only for its natural beauty but also for its richness in rare marine creatures, making it a favorite among photography enthusiasts. Adding to its allure, there is a unique hot spring shaped like a ship, allowing divers to relax and immerse themselves in its rejuvenating waters before and after their dives.

During the summer season, the waters come alive with mesmerizing schools of scorpionfish and sardines, providing divers with unforgettable sights. With a visibility of 11 meters and a maximum depth of 17 meters, this dive spot welcomes divers of all levels – from beginners to advanced and expert divers.
