El Muellito

Located in the middle area of the Salina reef, this dive site is perfect for beginners, as well as advanced and expert divers. The dive starts at the edge of the reef at a depth of 7m and continues in a series of stages, gradually reaching depths of 15m, 19m, 32m, and finally exceeding 40m. As you explore the dive site, you will encounter a solitary rock pin that has separated from the reef wall, providing a safe haven for young groupers.

Along the edge of the reef, you will be greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of large shoals of sardines gracefully patrolling the area. Countless species of fish have made their home among the rocks, which are covered in vibrant algae and plants. Keep an eye out for the colorful parrotfish, as well as fascinating creatures like the octopus and sepia.

With a visibility of 18m and a maximum depth of 22m, this dive site offers a wonderful underwater experience.
