Director's Bay
Director's Bay, located between the renowned Tugboat Reef and Small Wall dive sites, holds a rich historical significance. Previously inaccessible to the public as it was privately owned by the Directors of the Royal Dutch Shell Group and the Dutch Royal Family until 1985, this beach has now transformed into an exceptional shore diving destination.
Divers are treated to an abundance of fascinating macro marine life, including sea horses and frog fish, making Director's Bay a haven for underwater photographers and enthusiasts. The variety of fish species is equally impressive, with snapper, angelfish, grunts, parrot fish, and grouper all calling this site home.
With impressive visibility reaching up to 21 meters and a maximum depth of 20 meters, divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced, can enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Director's Bay. Situated in the Netherlands, specifically on the Caracasbay peninsula walk in Porta Blancu, Curacao, Director's Bay offers a captivating dive experience that showcases the natural beauty of this dive site.
