Balun

Balun, located in the northern region of the Kornati Islands in Croatia, offers an exceptional dive experience. To reach the diving spot, swim southeast until you reach the magnificent wall at a depth of 20 meters. As you navigate along the wall, keep your right shoulder towards it until you reach a ridge that extends southward. The eastern section of this area, situated at a depth of 26 meters, features a small terrace adorned with an incredible density of red fan corals and sponges.

You'll be amazed by the remarkable growth and multitude of gorgonians present here. Alternatively, you can explore a different route by following the wall westward and then proceeding along the ridge towards the south until you reach the small terrace. This route allows for a unique underwater journey.

With a visibility of 19 meters and a maximum depth of 33 meters, Balun caters to divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced and expert divers. Its proximity to Ježinov stan in Kornati, Općina Murter-Kornati, Šibenik-Knin County, Croatia, makes it easily accessible.
