Aguni Is. Fudensaki

Aguni Island, situated approximately 60 km northwest of Naha City in Japan, is a sought-after destination for divers. The island can be reached via a ferry ride lasting about 2 hours and 10 minutes, or alternatively, you can opt for boat diving from the neighboring Okinawa Island. Fudenzaki, located in Awakuni Island, stands out as one of the most renowned diving spots in the area.

This incredible dive site offers a remarkable array of marine life. While exploring the depths, divers can encounter magnificent specimens like bigeye trevally, bluefin tuna, bluefin trevally, barracudas swimming in large schools, as well as captivating creatures like Napoleon wrasses, grey reef sharks, giant frogfish, kudagombe, southern pufferfish, and clownfish residing within the coral roots.

Fudenzaki is a challenging dive due to its powerful currents. The maximum depth reaches around 30 meters, offering divers enchanting views of vast formations of swirling bigeye trevally. To make the most of this captivating experience, it is recommended to visit between April and July when conditions are at their prime.
