Zigeunerplätzli, Walchwil
From Zug, take the road along the lake towards Arth. Just after Oberwil, you'll find a parking lot on the right-hand side, in front of a small forest on a left curve.
If you're lucky and depending on the season, you may spot a variety of freshwater fish such as perch, pike, burbots, and more.
Navigate through the forest using one of several footpaths that will lead you to a pebble beach. Be cautious as it can get slippery when wet. The left side of the bay offers a relatively flat diving experience, while the right side presents a more challenging option.
For divers seeking a thrilling adventure, venture away from the springboard and across a seagrass belt. At a depth of approximately 10-12 meters, you'll encounter an intriguing wall adorned with various branches that serve as hiding spots for young fish.
This dive site in the water boasts a maximum depth of 29 meters and visibility of 7 meters. It is suitable for divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced and expert divers.
Located in Switzerland, near Artherstrasse, Oterswil, Eielen, Zug, 6317, this site offers an exciting underwater experience worth exploring.
