Zaovinsko jezero

Located at an altitude of 900m within Serbia's national park on Mount Tara, our dive site offers exceptional visibility for most of the year. With visibility reaching up to 7m, divers can explore the crystal clear waters with ease. The direct access to the water allows for convenient entry, which can be reached by car regardless of the water level.

The diverse underwater animal kingdom of this freshwater lake includes trout, catfish, and various other species of freshwater fish and shellfish. With a maximum depth of 23m, divers of all levels - beginner, advanced, and expert - can enjoy the wonders that this dive site has to offer.

Please note that as an audible part of the Bajina Bašta Hydropower Plant, the water level of the lake may experience fluctuations throughout the year, affecting the visibility. However, these fluctuations do not diminish the overall quality and beauty of the dive experience.
