Valjevska Gracanica

In 1989, the government of ex-Yugoslavia initiated a construction project for the Rovni dam on the Jablanica River, located 12km southwest of Valjevo. This project posed a threat to the local orthodox church "Valjevska Gracanica," which dates back to the 14th century, as well as the old cemetery. However, the construction of the dam resulted in the creation of a new lake with diverse aquatic species, though there is a limited presence of standard freshwater fish, crabs, and plants.

The lake offers a visibility of 3m and reaches a maximum depth of 17m, making it suitable for divers of all levels, including beginners, advanced divers, and experts. Located in Serbia, near Грачаница, 170, Rovni, Valjevo City, Kolubara Administrative District, Central Serbia, Serbia, this dive site offers a unique and enriching experience for divers.
