Val Bomber (Wreck)

Apra Harbor is a remarkable dive site offering a depth range of 25-100 feet. One of the main attractions is the Japanese Val bomber, resting at a depth of 85 feet against the side of a sloping reef. Divers also have the opportunity to explore numerous barges in the shallow waters of the same dive location. These vessels were sunk during the liberation of Guam in July 1944, adding a historical touch to the underwater experience.

The site boasts excellent visibility of approximately 11 meters, allowing divers to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the surrounding marine environment. With a maximum depth of 25 meters, this dive is best suited for advanced divers who are comfortable at greater depths.

Apra Harbor offers an abundance of marine life, including a diverse array of reef fish. The reef itself is adorned with beautiful Elephant Ear Sponges, as well as both hard and soft corals, creating a colorful and mesmerizing underwater landscape.
