Barracuda Rock

Located along the Orote peninsula in the United States, this dive site is renowned among local and visiting divers. While barracuda sightings have become less frequent compared to the past, occasional encounters can still be had here. Divers can explore depths ranging from shallow areas to an average of 45 feet, with some areas reaching over 100 feet.

One of the highlights of this site is the presence of approximately a dozen Green Sea Turtles, which can often be spotted both at the site and along the Orote peninsula. Additionally, White-tip and Black-tip reef sharks are commonly seen on most dives, further adding to the excitement.

With a maximum depth of 19 meters and a visibility of approximately 20 meters, this dive site is suitable for divers of various levels, from beginners to advanced. Its close proximity to Apra Harbor, in the Sånta Rita-Sumai Municipality, Guam, makes it a convenient and accessible location for divers.
