USS Strength (Wreck)

The USS Strength, a historic World War II minesweeper, played a significant role in the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. It bravely endured attacks from a midget submarine and a kamikaze raid. After its wartime service, the Strength continued its legacy as a training hulk for Navy salvage divers in both Washington, D.C., and Panama City.
