Bridge Span 12

The Hathaway Bridge, originally constructed in 1929, consists of 14 spans taken from the old bridge that connected Panama City to Panama City Beach. These spans were intentionally submerged in 1988 to create an exciting dive site for underwater enthusiasts.

Divers exploring this captivating site in the water can expect to encounter an array of vibrant marine life commonly found in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean. Stingrays, snapper, triggerfish, hogfish, as well as the possibility of encountering sandbar, blacknose, and bonnethead sharks, make this dive experience truly remarkable.
