Two Caves (Wreck)

This dive site is located in the waters of Australia and offers an exciting experience for divers. It is a wreck dive site of a sunken Sri Lankan people smuggler vessel that once carried refugees to the Australian mainland. Despite being photographed by Coast Watch, the vessel managed to evade apprehension while in Australian waters. Later, it arrived at Cocos Islands, claiming to be a group of poor lost fishermen.

Currently, most of the wreck has fragmented and is scattered across the bottom. However, a notable piece of the hull can still be found beneath the engines. This site caters to divers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. You can explore the wreck itself or observe reef sharks gracefully cruising the drop-off. Take the opportunity to venture into the caves and encounter soldier and squirrelfish, or even spot a sleeping white tip reef shark. The site also boasts a thriving macro life.

With a visibility of 16m and a maximum depth of 22m, this dive site offers good conditions for diving. Located near Home Island in the Shire of Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Australia, it is easily accessible for divers. Whether you are a novice or an experienced diver, this dive site provides an underwater adventure you won't want to miss.
