Tres Cocos Canyons

Tres Cocos Canyons is a fantastic beginner-level dive site located just outside of the Tres Cocos cut in Belize. With a mooring ball available and mild currents usually coming from the north, it provides a safe and enjoyable diving experience.

Situated adjacent to a break in the barrier reef, this dive site offers encounters with a variety of marine life such as dolphins, turtles, and rays. Additionally, you can expect to spot black grouper, nassau grouper, yellow snapper, and hogfish during your dive.

The mooring ball is conveniently positioned at a depth of approximately 45ft, allowing for easy access to the dive site. As you explore the area, heading east from the mooring will lead you to a finger canyon structure. At the bottom of these canyons, you'll find depths exceeding 100ft, while the tops of the canyons are approximately 65ft deep.
