Mexico Rocks
Mexico Rocks Marine Reserve is a shallow patch reef complex situated off the northern tip of Ambergris Caye in Belize. Comprised of around 100 Holocene patch reefs, this site is predominantly made up of boulder corals. Its location in very shallow water makes it an excellent spot for snorkeling.
Here, divers can encounter a diverse range of Caribbean marine life, including nurse and reef sharks, possible eagle rays, turtles, stingrays, as well as various species of fish such as snapper, angelfish, grunts, parrotfish, and grouper.
With a visibility of 14m and a maximum depth of 13m, Mexico Rocks Marine Reserve is suitable for both beginner and advanced divers. Located near The Cloisters on Honourable Heredia Jr. North Road in San Mateo, San Pedro Town, in the Belize District of Belize, this dive site offers an unforgettable underwater experience in the crystal clear waters of Belize.
