The Cables
Introducing the Tangled Cable Dive Site in Australia's Breaksea Island Nature Reserve. Named after an old communication cable that now intertwines the site, this underwater wonderland offers a maximum depth of 24m and visibility of around 17m. Perfect for beginner divers and beyond, this dive site is just a 40-minute boat ride from the marina, located at Gull Rock Road, Kalgan, City Of Albany, Western Australia, Australia.
As you descend into the depths ranging from 8-28m, prepare to be enchanted by the mesmerizing marine life that calls this site home. With a keen eye, you'll spot scorpionfish, western blue devils, and colorful nudibranchs. Don't miss the chance to encounter the majestic large blue grouper gliding through the underwater terrain.
Situated on the northern side of Breaksea Island, this dive site remains accessible throughout most of the year, sheltered from southerly swells. Once submerged, you'll feel like you're strolling through a bustling cityscape, as countless fish dart around the vibrant coral reef. Dive down between the imposing granite walls and be ready to embark on a truly spectacular underwater adventure.
