St. George (Wreck)
The St George Wreck is a highly popular dive site located in the Bayahibe area of the Dominican Republic. It is considered one of the best dive sites in the country. Situated in the water at a depth of 144 feet, this wreck offers an advanced diving experience. However, even newer divers can explore the top of the wreck at a depth of 50 feet under proper supervision.
Diving at the St George Wreck provides the opportunity to encounter a diverse range of marine life. Nurse and reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, and an abundance of fish such as snapper, angelfish, grunts, anemones, and grouper can be found living in and around the wreck.
