Astron, wreck

Located just offshore from Punta Cana in the beautiful waters of the Dominican Republic, this impressive shipwreck is a must-visit for divers. Resting in 40-50 feet of water, the 300-foot Russian vessel met its fate in 1979 while carrying a large shipment of corn to Cuba. With part of the ship still visible above the water's surface, it offers the convenience of a shore dive.
