Divesite: Sand Bay with Canyons and Caves, Best for Advanced Divers

Located in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, the Sand Bay dive site offers an exciting underwater adventure for advanced divers. With an entry point through canyons and caves, this dive site is marked with a visible rope guiding divers along the main route. The maximum depth reaches 30 meters, while the recommended depth for diving is 19 meters.

Marinelife enthusiasts will be thrilled to encounter a diversity of species, including barracudas, scorpion fish, snapper, glassfish, and lionfish. There is also an intriguing cave beneath the reef waiting to be explored. The current predominantly flows from north to south.

Accessible within approximately 30 minutes by minibus in the north direction, the Sand Bay dive site is conveniently located near Wadi Umm Gheig. However, please note that this dive site does not offer a reef suitable for snorkeling.
