Port Ghalib Sand-Oasis

The jetty serves as the entry and exit point for divers at this water dive site in Egypt. Upon reaching the jetty, divers have two options: heading north or heading south towards the renowned Palace diving spot. It's important to note that the dive to the Palace is a one-way route.

Starting from a depth of approximately 14m, divers will encounter a plateau adorned with numerous smaller blocks. Around 18m deep, a magnificent lettuce coral awaits, adding to the beautiful topography of the site. Underwater, a diverse range of fish species can be observed, amplifying the visual experience. Additionally, it is not uncommon for dolphins to make an appearance every now and then.

This dive site offers a visibility of 20m, allowing for clear underwater views. The maximum depth reaches 19m, making it accessible to both beginner and advanced level divers. Located in Egypt, the dive site is conveniently close to El Casra, Al Qusair, Marsa Aalam Road, Port Ghalib, in the Red Sea Governorate.
