The Capt. Shirley Brown Memorial Reef is located at coordinates 30*03.192N, 87*34.049W, about 13 nautical miles south of Perdido Pass. This sunken wreck sits at a depth of 85 feet/25m, with its top deck approximately 75 feet/22m below the surface.

It is the second vessel deployed by the Alabama Gulf Coast Reef & Restoration Foundation, which has plans for more reef deployments in the future.
