Rube Allyn Reef

This 35-foot barge, previously utilized in a reef program, offers an exciting dive opportunity. Constructed from 600 tons of concrete sourced from the demolition of the Old Clearwater Pass Bridge, as well as culvert and light poles, it provides a unique underwater structure. Divers will encounter numerous tall pyramid formations, including the notable "Twin Peaks," which reaches a depth of approximately 80 ft.

Exploring the dive site, divers can expect to encounter an array of vibrant Gulf of Mexico Caribbean fish species, such as stingrays, snapper, triggerfish, hogfish, and the possibility of spotting sandbar, blacknose, and bonnethead sharks.

With a maximum depth of 14m and visibility reaching up to 7m, this dive spot is well-suited for beginner divers. Situated in the United States, this location offers convenient access for those in close proximity.
