Circle of Heroes Memorial

The Circle of Heroes, located 10 miles off the coast of Dunedin Beach, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico, is a remarkable underwater military veterans memorial. Serving as the first of its kind, this memorial was dedicated on August 5, 2019. Currently, it proudly showcases 12 statues at a depth of 40 feet underwater, with plans already underway to add an additional 12 statues.

While exploring this unique site, divers will be immersed in a captivating underwater world filled with a diverse array of marine life. Amongst the statues, there is an abundance of grunts, goatfish, parrotfish, porcupine fish, sweetlips, and more. The underwater visibility at this site is approximately 6m, providing divers with the opportunity to truly appreciate the breathtaking surroundings.

With a maximum depth of 14m, the Circle of Heroes is suitable for divers of all levels, making it an ideal dive destination for beginners.
