Nitzan (Wreck) - הספינה התורכית
The Nitzan, an artificial dive site, was created by sinking a fishing boat in April 2012. This underwater attraction is located 6 km (3.7 miles) from the shore in Israel's Shikun Vatikim, Nahariah, Acre Subdistrict, North District. With a maximum depth of 14 meters (46 feet) and visibility reaching 8 meters (26 feet), the Nitzan is a suitable site for beginner divers.
Measuring 25 meters (82 feet) in length, the Nitzan offers divers the opportunity to explore the entirety of the ship and even penetrate its interior, provided they possess the necessary qualifications. Despite being a relatively new wreck, it is already teeming with marine life, serving as a habitat to various Mediterranean fish and creatures, including cave fish within the ship and rays at the bottom.
Dive into the depths of the Nitzan and discover the captivating underwater world it offers. Plan your dive at this remarkable dive site in Israel for an unforgettable experience.
