The Satil, a missile ship deliberately sunk in 2008 to honor 12 fallen marines, now serves as a captivating dive site. Located approximately 3 kilometers (less than 2 miles) off the shore of Israel, near the Shuniot Achziv Islands, this underwater memorial rests at a depth of 26 meters (85 feet). Over time, the wreck has divided into three distinct sections. Despite its relatively recent submersion, the Satil teems with vibrant marine life, offering divers a captivating spectacle.
