MarMar

This is one of the four most westerly islands in the Farasan Banks, located 48km from Al Lith in Saudi Arabia's Makkah Region. On the eastern side of this island, the wall slopes from 0 to 500 meters, offering a diverse underwater landscape filled with breathtaking caverns, lagoons, and small caves. These walls are home to an abundance of marine life, including Yellow Spotted Sweetlips, Marble Grouper, Blue Spotted Stingrays, Turtles, and various reef sharks.

The northern plateau of this island is known as the washing machine site, aptly named due to the strong current that can reach speeds of 2 to 3 knots.
