Long Reef (South)

Long Reef, situated in the Al Lith (Farasan Banks) area of Saudi Arabia, earns its name as the longest reef in the region. This remarkable site stretches for 2km from North to South, with a width of 300m from East to West. Located 55km offshore, Long Reef offers divers a captivating underwater experience with its impressive drop-offs ranging from 70-80m on both the east and west sides. The southern shelf showcases a gradual descent from 35m to 25m, surrounded by stunning corals, including an abundance of soft and hard varieties. At a depth of 35m, divers will encounter magnificent gorgonians, adding to the beauty of this enchanting dive site. The deep drop-off area, where the current is strongest, becomes a meeting point for grey reef sharks, adding a thrilling element to the dive.
