L’arche de Bandrelé

An arch, a few meters wide, lies beneath the water's surface at this dive site in France, near Mayotte. At the heart of the arch rests an old anchor adorned with vibrant sponges and corals, providing a picturesque sight for divers. Gorgonians and soft coral further enhance the beauty of the arch as they thrive in the shadows. The top of the arch is equally stunning, adorned with large and colorful corals. Many gaterins can be found here, diligently guarding the arch. With a maximum depth of 22m and visibility reaching up to 18m, this dive site is recommended for advanced and expert divers looking for an unforgettable underwater experience in France.
