Koh Tachai Pinnacle/The Dome, Koh Surin in Thailand

The Dome is a hidden reef point located approximately 500m south of Tachai Island in the stunning waters of Phang-nga Province, Thailand. This dive site offers a captivating underwater experience with its unique feature - a large dome-shaped bedrock resembling an upturned plate, surrounded by a sizable granite boulder. The top of the dome rests at a depth of 12 meters, providing an ideal spot for divers to explore.

Visibility at The Dome is an impressive 17 meters, offering clear views of the diverse marine life below. However, it's important to note that the current can vary in strength depending on the prevailing conditions, making this dive site most suitable for advanced divers.

Divers at The Dome can encounter an abundance of large predatory fish. Blue and white trevally, bluefin tuna, barracudas, manta rays, and whale sharks are just some of the awe-inspiring species that can be observed. The middle layer of the reef is teeming with yellowbacks, yellow dashes, blue dashes, and other fusiliers, creating a vibrant underwater spectacle.

Experience the dance of nature as dawn and dusk reveal a mesmerizing sight - schools of small fish being pursued by bluefin trevally, accompanied by a thrilling tornado of 1,000 blackfin barracuda.
