With a maximum depth of 18 meters between the shore and sand, it's important to pay attention to your surroundings. This dive spot is teeming with marine life. You can expect to encounter shoals of cocoroca, dog-eye, surgeons, salemas, butterfly fish, and friars. Keep an eye out for barracudas, turtles, and rays as well. The name of this location comes from the winch that was used to transfer cargo and supplies to the former Lighthouse of the Island from the mainland. You can still find remnants of the previous winch at a depth of 7 meters, just below the current winch. Don't miss the interesting passages between 10 and 15 meters deep.
