Hin Pee Wee
The dive site features large rock formations and smaller pinnacles, with the shallowest point at approximately 7m. Abundant soft corals and whip corals can be found in the area. The depth ranges up to 22m+. However, if you stay limited to 12m, there may not be much to see. The site also offers the opportunity to explore the HTMS Sattakut wreck during the same dive.
Divers can expect to encounter various marine life such as nudibranchs, scorpion fish, rays, porcupine puffers, and schools of trevally. Turtles, pipefish, sawblade shrimp, and squid are also frequently spotted. Taking a closer look at the rock formations reveals interesting macroscopic features, while gazing out towards the open sea often reveals the presence of large migratory fish.
Moreover, the Sadakut, a sunken ship of the Royal Thai Navy, is located nearby. It is generally submerged from Himpyewee, making it easily accessible for divers. Among the rocks, divers can spot different types of stingrays and pufferfish. Additionally, hornbills, swellbills, and large trevally are often sighted in the area.
With a visibility of 11m and a maximum depth of 20m, this dive site is suitable for both beginner and advanced divers. Located in the Gulf of Thailand, divers can easily access it.
