Epave du Gustavia (Wreck)

This dive site offers an exciting opportunity to explore the fascinating wreck of a 49m hourglass freighter, formerly known as GEOCEANIQUE and later renamed GUSTAVIA. Sunk as an artificial reef in 1991, this impressive wreck rests upright on a sandy bottom at a depth of 40m, approximately 1 mile away from the Malendure rock in Bouillante, France.

Divers at this site will be treated to a visually stunning experience, as the wreck is adorned with an abundance of vibrant sponges and multicolored fish. The presence of numerous barracudas adds to the allure, making this dive particularly enjoyable.

With a maximum depth of 36m and visibility reaching up to 17m, this dive is best suited for advanced and expert divers who are comfortable exploring deeper waters. It is highly recommended that divers have prior experience and the necessary skills to navigate this dive site safely.
