Divers have the opportunity to observe remarkable species such as schools of damselfish, barracudas, white seabreams, and two-banded seabreams. You may also encounter Mediterranean moray eels, mottled groupers, groupers, meagres, ornate wrasses, mullets, octopuses, and even gilthead seabreams during your dive. The abundance of marine life makes this dive site a true spectacle.
To access this dive site, you can start by heading out to the open sea from Cala’n Forcat. As you venture towards the end of the inlet, a vertical drop in the seabed awaits, reaching a depth of 18 meters. Here, you'll come across a sandy bank adorned with beautiful Neptune grass. Moving forward, you'll encounter the iconic rock formation that emerges from the depths, resembling the bow of a submarine.
If you choose to explore further, it is recommended to navigate through the channel that opens in a northern direction. Along the sides of this channel, you'll find captivating cracks that are home to an array of cardinal fish, Mediterranean moray eels, and occasionally lobsters. As you reach the stern of the submarine, you'll reach the maximum depth of the dive, which is 22.5 meters.
Depending on your remaining air supply, you can continue exploring the southern part of the rock or ascend towards the bow at a depth of 12 meters. From there, make your way northward to enter the inlet and explore the west side of the seabed, where several small caves reside, hosting interesting aquatic life. As you approach the end of your dive, ascend to 5 meters for a safety stop while heading towards the exit.
This dive site boasts excellent visibility of up to 20 meters, allowing divers to fully appreciate the beauty of the underwater world.
