One of the highlights of this dive is the Ariadne line, which allows for a thrilling penetration of up to 80 meters into the cave. As you gaze towards the open water from the bottom of the cave, you'll be captivated by the mesmerizing play of light.
The underwater world teems with an abundance of marine life. Glide among schools of colorful damselfish, barracudas, and white seabreams. Encounter graceful moray eels, mottled groupers, groupers, and ornate wrasses. Keep an eye out for octopuses and gilthead seabreams as well.
If you opt to start from the coast, head towards the open sea from Cala'n Forcat. Just at the end of the cove, you'll discover a vertical drop that plunges 18 meters deep. On the rocky bottom, groupers and moray eels are easy to spot. In the blue expanse, you can marvel at schools of damselfish, barracudas, and white seabreams. Venture further and you'll encounter rocks, ocean grass, and a sandy area known as El Arenal de las Chicharras. Here, you might even catch a glimpse of Dactylopterus volitans gracefully gliding around. Explore the cracks in the ground to find cardinalfish, morays, and lobsters.
While this dive offers incredible sights, it's important to note that sometimes there can be strong currents, which may pose a challenge. Nevertheless, the visibility is consistently excellent, allowing divers to fully appreciate the beauty of their surroundings.
