Alice G.Tobermory Tugs (Wreck)

The Alice G, a wooden tugboat, encountered a severe storm in November 1927 which caused it to run aground. This wreck presents an excellent opportunity for scuba divers, snorkelers, and freedivers to explore. Located in the pristine waters of Lake Huron, divers will have the chance to encounter a variety of fish species including sturgeon, bass, trout, perch, pike, and walleye.

Fondly referred to as the "Tugs," this dive site is named after the multiple tugs that can be found here, including the Robert K, the John & Alice, and the Bob Foote. Among them, the Alice G remains the most intact and is perfectly upright at a depth of approximately 25 feet.

With a maximum depth of 12m and visibility of 12m, this dive site is suitable for divers of all levels, including beginners. Located in Tobermory, Canada, close to the Tobermory Prince Hotel & Restaurant and the famous Bruce Trail, this site offers a memorable diving experience in Southwestern Ontario.
