Wintertauchplatz Sorpesee

At our dive site in Germany, you can enjoy a convenient and shallow entry directly from the campsite. After a short dive, you will reach the middle of the lake where a stunning steep wall awaits you. This wall drops to a maximum depth of about 34m during full water. Please note that registration is required for this dive site.

Underwater, you will have the opportunity to observe a variety of marine life. Seaweed, walleye, pike, redfish, and, at dusk, eel and crabs are commonly spotted. Additionally, there are a few wrecks scattered throughout the area for you to explore.

For those who enjoy steep wall diving, this site offers excellent visibility of up to 8m. However, due to the depth and potential challenges, we recommend this dive for advanced divers.
