Sun Boat (Wreck) - סאן בוט
The Sun Boat was intentionally sunk in 2010 off the northern shore of the Eilat Gulf, Israel. This 30-meter (100 feet) long wreck rests at a depth of 14 meters (42 feet), requiring a 10-15 minute swim and excellent navigation skills to reach it.
Underwater, the Sun Boat has become a sanctuary for a variety of marine creatures such as frog fish, groupers, puffers, and more. Don't forget to keep an eye out for rays gliding gracefully along the sandy bottom.
Please exercise caution when traveling to and from the site, as surfers often frequent the area.
Enhance your diving experience with 13 meters of visibility and a maximum depth of 16 meters. This dive site is recommended for advanced divers.
Located near the HaShalom Promenade and the Hotel district in Eilat, within the Beersheba Subdistrict of the South District in Israel, the Sun Boat wreck is easily accessible.
