Steinbruch Pinkvoss, Kirchberg
One of the highlights of this dive site is its remarkable fish population. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and witness carp swimming alongside perch. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of pike and catfish.
The Pinkfoss quarry, named after its former owner, serves as the designated club water for TSC Neptun Kirchberg. Located on Lengenfelder Straße, this small quarry spans approximately 50x75m and reaches depths of 6m to 12m. As you explore the depths, you'll encounter remnants from the mining era, including carts, the remains of a diving bell, a small cabin boat wreck, and even a historic 2-mast cutter. For practicing and training purposes, a platform is available at a depth of 2m/6m. The water quality has been enhanced with a deep-water aeration system installed several years ago.
If you're interested in diving in this enchanting lake, we encourage you to contact the club in advance to register. Please note that access to the area is restricted by fencing, and the site does not currently offer regular base operations. However, during weekends from June to September, there is typically someone available on-site. Please keep in mind that only a maximum of 15 divers per day are permitted.
