Silbersee, Niedernberg
To dive in the lake, a diving permit is required. Over the years, significant changes have occurred in the lake. Currently, its maximum depth is 6 meters, a decrease from its previous depth of 10 meters. The underwater landscape has also transformed, with a notable decrease in vegetation.
The lake is now home to catfish and plentiful carp, which may be attributed to the decline in underwater plants. However, no crabs or mussels are present. It is important to note that visibility in the lake is limited to 2 meters.
This dive site is suitable for beginners, particularly those interested in Stress & Rescue exercises. It is open for diving from May onwards. Located in Germany, specifically at St 2313, Niedernberg, Landkreis Miltenberg, Bavaria, 63843, this dive spot offers a convenient and accessible location for divers.
