Shinkoku Maru, Truk Lagoon

The Shinkoku Maru is a Naval Tanker that sank during operation hailstone in 1944. This 152-meter long wreck is located in the waters near Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia. With a maximum depth of 31 meters and visibility of 20 meters, it offers an exciting diving experience for advanced divers. Resting upright on an even keel, the Shinkoku Maru is adorned with a variety of marine life, including luxurious corals, anemones, gorgonian fan corals, sponges, and surrounded by schools of juvenile fish.
