Shikotsuko Lake
From July to September, divers can marvel at a diverse range of endemic species including ducks, water plants, blue-winged carp, rainbow trout, and red-bellied shrimp. During the middle of October until the end of November, you can witness the spawning of rainbow trout, surrounded by the vibrant colors of red-bellied trout in their breeding attire. Our river drift dives also offer the chance to encounter rare blue and white carps.
Our dive site boasts numerous exclusive sights that cannot be found elsewhere. Discover the endangered underwater flower, Chitose-baikamo, as well as submerged ancient trees aged over 100 years old. Additionally, a magnificent congregation of Chinook salmon awaits you.
With a maximum depth of 8 meters and favorable visibility of 18 meters, our dive site is suitable for both beginner and advanced divers. Located in Chitose, Ishikari Subprefecture, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, it offers a convenient and accessible location for diving enthusiasts.
