Santa Cruz Island, situated in Santa Barbara County, California, United States, is the largest and most diverse of the eight Channel Islands. Divided into East and West, the East End is under the ownership of the National Park Service while the west is managed by the Nature Conservancy. These portions of the island are prime locations for diving, with access only possible by boat.
