Sandycove

Welcome to our shallow training site located in Ireland. This site offers a sandy bottom and is sheltered from most wind directions, providing ideal conditions for beginner divers. With a maximum depth of 6m and a visibility of 4m, it is the perfect spot to hone your diving skills.

The site features a gradual depth change, ranging from 1m to 10m, with the shallowest part located closest to the slip. The sandy bottom is teeming with marine life, including sand eels, crabs, hermit crabs, and small fish. If you venture closer to the pier, you will encounter an abundance of micro-life in the weed.
