Riva Santo

The Riva Santo dive site is located at the entrance of the Caldera, situated between OIA and Thirassia Island in Greece. It is a mere 20-minute boat ride from the harbor of Caldera Beach. This exceptional dive spot offers divers an awe-inspiring volcanic landscape adorned with fascinating lava formations, including numerous swim-throughs.

Within this captivating volcanic reef, divers can encounter a diverse range of marine life, such as groupers, scorpion fish, cuttlefish, octopuses, and various species typical of the Mediterranean. The dive site begins at a depth of 10 meters, reaching its deepest point at 40 meters. It is an ideal location for both recreational dives, with depths of up to 18 meters, as well as more advanced deep dives.

The Riva Santo dive site is highly recommended for deep dive training and XR training due to its unique characteristics. The excellent visibility, usually around 30 meters, allows for clear views of the stunning underwater surroundings. The water temperature ranges between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius, providing comfortable diving conditions.
