Richland Howard Amon Park

Experience the thrill of a drift dive in the heart of Richland, United States. This dive site offers a unique back eddy that allows divers to return to the starting point effortlessly. Begin your dive by swimming straight out from the shore until you feel the current picking up. Then, follow the downstream flow towards the 2" steel cable. Utilize the cable as a guide to make your way back towards the shore, taking advantage of the current reversal in the eddy at a depth of 15 feet. Allow the natural flow to carry you back to your starting location.

During your dive, you'll have the opportunity to encounter a variety of marine life, including bass (both large and small), walleye, and carp. If you're interested in exploring the vibrant underwater ecosystem, you'll find an abundance of crawfish. Additionally, bass fish are known to accompany divers throughout their underwater adventure.

For ease of navigation, there are multiple lines laid on the bottom, all clearly indicated on the map. These lines serve as helpful guides for divers to explore the surroundings. On the right side of the dive site, you'll also discover a designated navigation practice area for further skill development.

With a visibility of 3 meters and a maximum depth of 10 meters, this dive site is perfect for beginner divers. Located near Newton Street in Richland, Benton County, Washington, this captivating dive spot offers an unforgettable experience in the pristine waters of the United States.
