REM III (Wreck)

The REM III, formerly known as the Delft, is a ship that was converted by the Germans during the Second World War and fitted with a cannon. It is one of the three well-known wrecks from the former REM platform, hence its name. The REM was sunk by the Allied forces during the war.

Located about 40 meters underwater, this wreck offers a unique diving experience. A few years ago, the cannon was removed from the wreck and can now be found in a war museum.

With a visibility of 6 meters and a maximum depth of 24 meters, the REM III is suitable for advanced and expert divers. It is a popular diving spot in the Netherlands, given its close proximity to the country.
