Quellental
At this dive site, you will not only encounter debris but also a diverse range of flora, fauna, and the occasional large flatfish.
For Entrance 1 at the diving house, begin your dive on the left side of the headland, heading approximately 300-330 degrees. Follow this direction until you reach an edge where the depth drops from 4m to 8m. Take your time to explore the surroundings in tranquility.
Alternatively, Entrance 2 is marked by a stone that resembles a pointed roof, located in front of the headland. You can enter the water directly from there, and you'll also notice two windmills standing together, serving as additional reference points. Before diving, check the water surface to determine the wave direction and consider the current. As you descend along the edge, the depth gradually increases and reaches approximately 16m. It's worth noting that if your dive computer reads 18m, you have already passed the sea mark. Take care to fin gently to minimize disturbance in the mud.
For safety reasons, avoid the eastern end of the breakwater due to boat traffic. Additionally, be cautious of wave action along the breakwater during inclement weather.
This dive site offers a visibility of approximately 5m and reaches a maximum depth of 10m, making it suitable for divers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Whether you're new to diving or experienced, this underwater experience in Glücksburg, Germany, promises an exploration of marine life and fascinating underwater landscapes.
