Punta Papa - Prua nave LST 349

Located in the western part of Ponza, this breathtaking dive site offers divers a vibrant wall teeming with marine life. At the base of the wall, lies the bow of a shipwreck from the Second World War. The wreck is situated at a depth of 30 meters and is divided into two parts, making it partly penetrable. Divers can easily reach this site by dinghy.

Diving between the wall and the wreck provides a unique opportunity to encounter various local species seeking shelter. Groupers, moray eels, octopuses, and white bream are commonly spotted in this area. Occasionally, lucky divers may even come across seahorses, eagle rays, and dolphins.
