Punta las Cañas
Punta las Cañas, located near the integral reserve in Spain, offers an excellent dive experience for both beginner and advanced divers. While the dive is relatively easy, divers may encounter some current, usually heading east. It is important to note that divers should always descend and ascend through the Reserve buoy for safety.
With a maximum depth of 24 meters and visibility reaching up to 21 meters, Punta las Cañas provides clear waters for divers to explore. As you descend to a depth of just 12 meters, you'll be greeted by several schools of fish, including the colorful Ornate Wrasse, the Common Two-banded seabream, the Cow bream, and the thuna. The dive site is also home to the ubiquitous and magnificent Island grouper.
Located close to La Restinga, El Pinar de El Hierro, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, this dive spot offers not only a memorable underwater experience but also the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced diver, Punta las Cañas is a must-visit destination for divers looking to explore the underwater wonders of Spain.
